A former employee still has a working door code, and nobody can say who opened the warehouse Tuesday night. That is usually why we get called. We replace shared keys and sticky-note codes with badges, cameras, and a door-by-door record the office manager can read.
The install is concrete. We survey every opening, then pull cable to readers and network cameras (IP cameras). Footage lands on an on-site video recorder (an NVR) sized to your retention policy. Card, phone, or fingerprint readers (biometric) take the place of a building-wide rekey. Facilities can issue or revoke access the same day someone leaves.

Offices, clinics, warehouses, and mixed-use buildings each fail differently when a door cannot be accounted for.
Corporate offices
Office floors in Frisco, Plano, and Legacy West mix public lobbies with staff-only corridors and after-hours access that has to be logged. We put card or phone credentials on the doors that matter and pair them with cameras at entries. Facilities gets a door-by-door audit trail. Visitor badges can be time-boxed so a contractor does not keep last month's code.

Clinics need a front desk that can see the door and staff corridors patients cannot wander. We separate public waiting areas from clinical doors. Footage stays on an on-site recorder (an NVR), and the practice manager can export a report when an audit asks who opened a records room.

Design and permitting
Our designers specify readers, locks, cameras, and the on-site video recorder (an NVR) sized to your retention policy. We hold Texas Alarm License B12713501, so we file the alarm permit. Drawings show cable paths, door hardware, and how new badges get issued.
Occupied-facility install
Our own technicians pull cable and mount readers around your operating hours. Cameras go up on the same visit. Work can run evenings or weekends so the floor stays open. Existing locks stay in service until the new credential is tested.
Commissioning and handover
We enroll the first set of badges and test each door and camera. If you chose monitoring, we confirm alarms reach the station. Facilities gets a live walkthrough on issuing and revoking credentials. You receive as-built drawings and a labeled door schedule.
Local support
The same Plano team that installed the system handles firmware, added doors, and a badge that will not read. Hours are Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM · Sat 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Monitoring is optional.

02Do I need to replace my existing security system for new access control?
Often no. We audit the panels, cameras, and cabling already in the building and keep what is supportable. Readers and locks can usually be added to working doors. We will tell you when a recorder, camera, or panel should be replaced because it cannot talk to the new credential system.
03How long does access control installation take?
Most occupied offices take one to two weeks on site. Multi-building or high-door-count jobs take two to three weeks and are phased so the floor stays open. New construction follows the builder's schedule. We can work evenings or weekends. A written timeline is part of the proposal.
04Can you integrate access control with my existing Control4 or smart building system?
Yes. We are a Control4 Certified Dealer and also install Savant. Door events, cameras, and arm or disarm can sit on the same touchscreen that already runs lights and climate. We program and test that link during commissioning so a manager can lock up from one place.
05Can access control integrate with our HR or directory system?
If you already run a staff directory, we configure the access platform so a disabled account can kill the badge the same day. During design we confirm which directory you use and what we can sync. We test that path at commissioning. We do not claim a universal connector for every HR tool.
06How do you ensure cybersecurity protection for access control systems?
Cameras and door controllers sit on their own network slices (VLANs), separated from guest Wi-Fi and office laptops. We use encrypted connections, change default passwords, and document the addressing. Firmware stays current as part of support. The same discipline we use on the building networks we also install.
